Once upon a time, in a land not so far away, lived a Mother who had two lovely, not so little, boys. The village they lived in had been struck by a terrible spell and no one was able to leave their homes for fear of the big bad 'something'. Holed up for a many moons with not much to do, the little family wasted their days staring at 'small little squares' that had entertaining things that captivated you. It seemed to pass the long Spring days, but it came at a cost, the little squares would radiate a 'dark magic' that was sneaky and dangerous. The Mother felt terribly guilty about the amount of 'dark magic' that her children where being exposed to. She tried to get 'little squares' separated from children but alas she would fail. One night she awoke with a start and clambered out of bed in the dead of the night. Down the creaky old stairs to the sewing spindle. With a fire in her heart and quickness in her hands she spun through the chill of the night. By day break she had made two beautiful little pillows, blessed with the magic of invention, neatly sewn with a pretty silver lining. The kids awoke to find these new treasures on each corner of the patchwork couch. From that day on the children placed the magic pillows on their laps while they scrolled thru the 'small little squares'. The 'dark magic' tried as it could to penetrate the pillow, but the magic of the silver lining held strong and the children were protected.

Rebekah Logan
This is the 'big cheese', 'the boss', the one that we all report to. She is the one that holds the company together and keeps the ship on course. She has the confidence and plan to take Cush Co. to the stars. We look to her when we are feeling discouraged and she gives us the empowerment we need to push through the obstacles that our jobs throw at us. Some times she calls us at 2AM with ideas and we all get our of bed and take notes, cause, well she's the boss and we believe in her.
PHOTOGRAPHER
Bekah Logan
Probably the most experienced on our team, shh don't tell the others...15 years of photography industry experience and a diploma in professional photography you name it she will do it. Bekah executes all the photo-shoots in house. (Literally she does it all in my house.) Web-store product, social, video are all created by her. She works closely with our head of Social Media to keep fresh images coming your way.
DESIGN / PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
R. A. Logan
Designing pillows, building props, or anything artistic or design oriented, this is the head of that whole department. Resourcing sustainable fabrics and buying fair trade direct from other artists is paramount in her decisions when purchasing materials. Everything is designed, washed, ironed, measured, cut and prepared in house and sewn with a fellow seamstress. She works closely with Ben in shipping to make sure that your package is thoughtfully and perfectly wrapped and off to its new home.
SOCIAL MEDIA
Becky Logan
Becky came to Cush Co. in the fall of 2021. She had minor industry experience but she did have a personal Instagram page with 137 followers so we figured that we needed to align with a big-time influencer with huge loyal following like Becky. She is absolutely killing it and last I checked our Cush Co. social account was up to 77 followers. Go Becky, we would be invisible without you.
WEBSITE DESIGN / S.E.O.
Bek Logan
The fact that you were even able to click on Cush Co's web address and get to this about page has everything to do with Bek. What website? What eCommerce store? Bek has built this entire web store on her own. Thank goodness this is not my job, its complicated and frustrating and you need to be an expert in this career to do it successfully. If it was me doing it I'd probably have to take a year just to get the store launched because I would have to learn an entire new profession to pull it off. So far she has done it all for free cause she believes in us. I really hope she sticks around.
ACCOUNTING / HUMAN RESOURCES
Reebs Logan
The numbers queen. Reebs manages all the bookkeeping, banking and money. Setting up tax departments, approving spending and calculating costs and margins. She is Cush Co's check writer and keeps promising us that we will get paid someday. When she isn't sorting thru receipts she is always available for a vent or a ear to listen. Head of human resources she will solve any co-worker disputes with a smile.
SHIPPING AND RECEIVING
Ben Logan
Meet Ben, head of shipping and receiving. Ben's can do attitude is the heart and soul of Cush Co. There is nothing Ben can't do. Ship all the products on time? Done. Pack your order with some extra love and care? Ben did that. Open a jar of pickles? Already done, check the counter. There is no such thing as 'try' according to Ben, 'just do'. That's why we have such an amazing shipping policy for such a small company. Ben just tackles orders like a beast and is the driving force behind the 24 shipping policy.
